This is a Chunky Beef Pie with a serve of Rosemary Salted Wedges and Tomato Fig Relish.

This was shot for a winter editorial spread earlier though the plating and lighting was wrong and couldn't be used in publication, though as for the food aspect of this image it's more than suitable.

THIS IS DULCET EPICURE

All dishes you see on *DulcetEpicure are created, cooked, presented and photographed by myself. I believe if you are going to photograph food you should first have an intimate knowledge of each image, I'm all about the journey!

My gratitude for your support...

If you made this dish then please do read up on what I have to speak for about this dish. If not then please disregard as to what I say.

Appearance: Potato wedges look nice. Your beef pie well baked. evenly done. I just don't understand the weave though. It might be best if the entire cover was weaved all through out. But I still say that this was evenly baked so I'm happy enough to look at it and wanting to taste it :D

Originality: Pretty sure there are some recipe's out there. But anything can be in that beef pie. I want to taste it as much as I want to just keep looking at it. Wedges aren't that original. But the sauce, I'm curious as to what blend it is. @_@

Technique: I can't say anything about culinary execution. Everything seems to be in place. For photography execution, Looks divine. I want nothing more to see the elements present for what it seems to be a pie :)

Impact: I want that pie :D but in professional terms, Show this photo then what's inside of the pie. Because a lot of critics like me would like to see what's inside of your pie. As for the sauce it's optional for you to post the recipe but I'd rather not ask for each barbecue sauce out there is unique in flavor and spice.

Every review I do is fairly distributed. On points may vary. I never review if bias or it would be unfair for the rest of the deviantART-ists

Do you happen to post recipes as well? Because that looks tasty, and I have never had a beef pie.

This is not my exact recipe but it's close, also replace the lamb with beef and you have an amazing pie! :)
