Bomboloni (Italian Doughnuts) by DulcetEpicure Bomboloni (Italian Doughnuts) by DulcetEpicure
Ahhh, its good to be back... Sorry I have been away.

This is Bomboloni or (Italian Doughnuts) You cannot see in the middle but its filled with a Powerful Citrus Creme, served with Starwberry Infused Honey Syrup and Double Cream.

THIS IS DULCET EPICURE

All dishes you see on *DulcetEpicure are conceived, cooked, styled and photographed by myself. I believe if you are going to photograph food you should first have an intimate knowledge of each image, I'm all about the journey!

My eternal gratitude for your support... :)

these look delicious!
...but I have to correct you :)
I am Italian and I can assure you that "zeppole" are not "italian doughnuts" :)
In Italy "doughnuts" are usually called "bomboloni" and so are the one in your picture :)
"zeppole" instead are puffs filled with cream and topped with black cherries...usually aren't fried, but baked. [link]
also they're typical of saint Joseph day (also known as Dad's Day) :)

I hope I didn't offend you :)
