Okay, so I am going to start off with the positives from this picture. I really like the coffee drink itself. The swirl of different shades of creme/brown on top of it look really delicious! And I like how you sat the cup on a plate- gives it more of a elegant look.

I gave you 3.5 stars for Vision because I can really see a lot of potential in this picture! It's got a classy feel yet is something a lot of people can relate to, seeing that so many people like coffee drinks.

For Originality I gave you 3.5 stars because I haven't ever seen a picture of a coffee drink quite like this. It's not in a coffee mug or a typical Starbucks cup. So nice job there.

On Technique I just gave you 3 stars though, because I see there is a lot of room for improvement. The plate of food (or whatever it is) in the background is really distracting. Now if it was a coffee pot blurred out in the background, or something that was related to coffee drinks, it would not be so distracting. So I would either take that out or change whatever it is on the plate. Also the cup that the coffee is in is a bit too blurry. I realize you were trying to focus in on the actual coffee substance, but the heavy blur on the glass takes away from the picture.

I gave you 2.5 stars for Impact because this picture is not going to stay in my mind. If you work on some of the technique in the photograph, it will definitely raise the level of impact this picture has. You have a nice subject and obviously good photography skills, you just need to mess around with the placement of things in the picture. So keep up the good work! I hope this was constructive criticism for you and that you will be encouraged to keep taking pictures and improving! :)
