Also baked and photographed in Paris France, was this challenging Roasted Almond and Raspberry Vanilla Bean cake with a little dusting of cinnamon Sugar for good measure.

...It's all about the butter!

You really made the top crust nicely brown and flakey! Really perfect dessert--both in execution and presentation! :clap:

Ahhh Thanks for such a great comment.
When it was baked, the first 5mins is at 280*c then its turned down to 160*c for 30mins and then the almond flakes are added for the last 5mins at 200*c, its the only way to get it crispy and moist without burning the top. I would like to say I have never burnt one but I would be lying!
