Triple Chocolate Macadamia Cookiesby *DulcetEpicure

I baked these little suckers today for a Vogue Publication Photo shoot, the actual purpose of this was for a Christmas article though these were left over and begging to be filmed so this was my... personal side project I guess.

What you are looking at is a Lindt Chunky Chocolate and Macadamia Cookies on the Left and Raspberry Lindt Chocolate Cookies on the Right.

...Oh and a glass of icy cold milk, you cannot have freshly baked cookies without a glass of milk, there are rules that need to be observed in the consumption of COOKIES!

They're gorgeous. I love how even though this is in color and clearly modern, there's such subtle variations between cookies and twine that it almost has a hint of sepia timelessness.

Yeah the green tinge is there to signify night without it being completely dark, this was originally set up for a Christmas shoot and the cookies were for santa but he took too long and they didn't last 5 mins. I love the traditions were allow into our lives at Christmas, such silly traditions yet kids especially get so excited about the cookies, it makes that moment they wake up really worth it.

I know I use to go straight for the cookies each Christmas morning!

Yuuum! Reminds me a bit of Christmas with the milk and cookies...wonderful shot. Of course it makes me want to go and eat some chocolate which isn't a good idea...
